An up-and-coming plant-based pasta sauce company had two delicious sauces to bring to market, a great story to tell, and an old brand that simply could not capture the imagination of the market. Working closely with its owners to define brand attributes and articulate a value proposition for health conscious consumers, we developed a new company name, Hudson Green, a new brand identity, and packaging for two delicious sauces, Velvet Vodka and Meatless Bolognese.
The marketing strategy for these upscale plant-based products is to compete directly with conventional sauces rather than focus on the narrower vegan market subset. With Hudson Green, the pasta sauce aisle is getting an exciting new healthy upstart.
